In an ideal situation, liquid metal silicone grease is currently the best thermal conductivity material, but there are some defects

1: The surface is easily oxidized. When liquid metal encounters air, the surface oxidizes to form oxides, which directly increases thermal resistance and reduces performance.

2: Friends who have used liquid metal silicone grease have all encountered that conventional liquid metal silicone grease is difficult to apply evenly, and it is difficult to grasp the specific amount of application. If it is accidentally dripped on the motherboard under improper use, Ordinary liquid gold silicone grease will corrode the circuit (aluminum) and cause a short circuit on the motherboard or graphics card

Disadvantages of ordinary liquid metal silicon grease

Liquid metal is a thermal conductivity and keeps the liquid at normal temperature. It does not harden over time, unlike silicone grease. Most of them are standard in the standard tower or the whole-tower case. The motherboard is installed, and the CPU is naturally erected. If liquid gold is applied, under the influence of gravity, some excess liquid gold will inevitably flow down, then enter the CPU socket and cause the motherboard to burn.
The liquid metal also has strong corrosiveness for aluminum alloys. Although the current tower radiator is mainly thermal tubes, there are still aluminum blocks in the base for assisting heat dissipation. The requirements of the radiator are also extremely high.
